    Hey there,

looking for passenger grab rails for a 5th GEN but didn't realize they cost that much!
Does anyone know where I could find them cheap?

Or......if anyone wants to sell them to me!

    Cheers!

EBay would be the best bet, someone who wrecked their bike. Or sold it without the handles mounted, and found them in the garage and wants to get rid of them.

Yeah, I shit my pants when I saw that Honda wanted 80 BUCKS A PIECE!!! You might as well just drop your pants, and grab the table, as Honda is gonna give it to you dry and hard!

I ended up buying mine off of ebay for 60 bucks for both. Be quick though, as they DO NOT last long!

on my 6th gen, the factory mount for the topcase has the grab handles built in. I has a nice flat platform. If there's a similar mount for the 5th gen, that might be another way to help your passenger hang on.

    Hey noz,

How sturdy are these grab handles on the luggage though? I have some on my givi bags (when I have them on) however, I don't know if always hanging onto them would be totally safe.

The "handle" is part of the steel frame covered in a plush naugahide-like cushion of plastic that bolts to the stock grab handle spots. I could life the bike off the ground with the rack if I was taller, and stronger, and wanted to. The handle is not part of the plastic case, it is part of the mount for the case.
