Oo other than the PITA process of replacing it, I'd be making a call if it where me. And to answer your question, No. Was it a Chinese knock off?

Ooo... well, I'd still be making a call, that ain't right.

Me, tore more into the Viffer brakes DE Link. Really Honda... smh. I know linked brakes work for the most, I've heard it before. But to those that don't know what your missing. :) Still what APIA ass, but if you're into adventures go for it.

Myself, I just replaced the other muffler gasket. The original ones were shot, but crusted in like barnacles lol. I had replaced only one previously, because I cheaped out and bought the CALTRIC instead, and wanted to make sure it would work before investing another $6.75! Lol

Yeah man, I had a caliper off this morning, had a bit too much grease on the spring, ended up contaminating the inboard pad. Live & Learn...

The brake activated picture doesn't do the brightness justice at all. These things get desired attention when they flash.

Mm not to much, surprising too. It went pretty much straight forward. I tell ya though Honda likes to over think things, no surprise there. time to clean things up a bit too. LOL now to put it back again, better than new ;) God knows I have the time, Penske called, they where going to try and get it out by Wednesday SMH, again.

I worked on both VFRs today. I ended up putting the clear clutch cover on the 09 and even added a little color to the clutch itself. I also did some more work on the 01 and got the front subframe, radiators and oil cooler installed. Got the forks installed too. Next is to get the front wheel back on so I have a rolling chassis and then get the bike off the ABBA Skylift stand so I can replace the right rear set. Then hopefully, get to the body work soon.

It was raining so I refinished the grab bar, replaced the small cluster bulb with an LED, and secured the weatherstripping on the fairing.

It's the Corsair X, which I gather is two revisions later from the RX7.
