I'm sure glad somebody understands all that stuff. I guess that's why they call those bigass glass beads marbles.

I think an ejection seat on a bike would have to go through a little redesigning. It's been awhile but to actually eject from an aircraft so equipped, takes both hands as I recall. I'm certain that all three of the military air services who have birds with ejection seats could share this salient information. IMO, it might be better to not take one's hands off the bars at speed since most know how much trouble one can get into doing shit like texting and willy wagging on a bike.

Free Willy is a nifty slogan but the actual practice on a bike might not sell well to the local LEOs.

There is some difference between "looks like" and actuality. From the still pic, the truck is rounding a curve and the bike and rider have "left the building".. Maybe the driver of the truck couldn't find a parking meter.. Just thought I'd add a non professional opinion mself.

The driver probably was texting at the time and missed the whole thing.

Spectacular bit of road, you guys in SoCal are pretty lucky to have that sort of playground in your back yard, I will confess to being just a little jealous, not of the guy who decided to fly instead of ride though. As to the angles this guy had with him, I think he probably had more vectors and possibly a trajectory or two depending on what he bounced off on the way down. Once very lucky guy for sure. Glad it ended well, comparatively speaking.

The secret to all the awesome roads out here is to stay away or hit them early on weekends. Weekdays are the best and virtually empty and free of the squidly types.
