Well that's a load of Apparently Sandhill doesn't really want our money or they would have ordered more. I mean come-on now, we have over 12 people ready to purchase, that's over 3 grand in sales!

You know what azpilgrims, maybe you should just go directly to the sourse and see what kind of deal you can get. With this many customers in pocket you could easily become a vender.

I know what your thinking, why the hell did I start this thread?

I can't but wonder if they're really stalling in hopes that some of us will cave in and buy the seats full price.

When I bought mine, I paid $320 shipped. This was a month and a half ago. I don't think Sandhills will stall over 10 bucks...at least I hope they won't.

But that's only $10 more for Sandhill's listed price. I'd pay 10 bucks more to get one now but they wont have them for another month

I spoke to several of Sargent's Biggest Dealers after talking to Sargent directly, they said they cannot compete with Sandhills prices....so the deal is the best deal we can get right now. I am trying to get us the best prices, and this is the best price I have found. The worst part is I was laid off from my job today and I will not be able to participate in the group purchase.

In defense of Sandhill, I purchased my Sargent seat from them 6 months ago and it was the fastest turn around I've ever experienced. 4 days from purchase to delivery in California. They have the best price around. If they say that the seats are out of stock I would believe them. I think no one else is trying to match their price because if they go lower then they will have to produce the seats and the other store probably doesn't have it in stock either.

Just my $0.02 USD...

I called Sandhill power sports today and despite the ETA of 9/21 to have the 5th generation seats they told me they won't have them until Sept 22nd. WTF?! I give up on this. I'll just look elsewhere.

Well...I paid $360 for mine this week from http://www.sporttour.com

Wish I knew about the group buy - that will teach me. :(

i've got 5600 miles on the original pan.. i can wait another month. nobody's ass is gonna fall off riding on the stock seat. good luck finding anybody that can match the $310 price plus free shipping. i still am thankful that azpilgrims took the effort to set this up and keep folks informed.

I bought one from them for my 06 in white and it looks great with the silver piping. They honored the $310 price and shipped it right out. Much better than the stock seat. Thanks azpilgrims for your work on this.

Yeah, my link above will take you to sporttour.com

Here's what the 98-01 looks like:

Nice thing is - it's a two piece - so you don't have to have the passenger on - makes a nice trunk! :)
