I found what I think is a great deal on Sargent Seats for the VFR800's - this is the email price quote I recieved - plus the website was running a Free Shipping Deal on orders over $ 175.00 - if anyone knows of a better deal out there on new seats, let me know - I plan on ordering one soon for my 04 VFR800.

That is the same deal at the same place since last month. Some of the guys on this web site bought the seat and that is a good deal for brand new seat

If you get at least 5 people to buy they'll come down to $300 and that can be a mix of 5th and 6th gen. That's what I did.

I received an email back from them this morning:

Currently all of the VFR seats are on back order with our supplier with an ETA of 8-4-08. If that date sticks we are able to get Silver, Red and Black accents for the 02-07 for 310.00 and with the 98-01 models we can get Red and Yellow accents for 315.00. These prices do include shipping for the lower 48, otherwise their will be a shipping charge to Alaska, Hawaii and Canada. Again this is only an ETA so their is no guarantee that the 4th will stick. Once that time comes we can check if they are available we can then place the order, but we are unable to do any back orders with the seats. Let us now if we can answer any other questions. Thanks

These seats have the carbon look to them correct?
If so and it's not to late I'll take one.
Just can't make up my mind what color welt to get for the 06 white vfr.
