Silver wheels on a 6th Gen

well I recently had to replace the tyres on my 07 RWB.

I went into the garage and looked at the worn bridgestones (about 70% worn) and then took a look at the Conti Road attacks (near new) on my O7 candy red and it took about one nano-second to figure that a wheel swap would solve a key problem here.
the 07 Candy red is currently for sale so i figured i'd save my self $500 and swap em over.

so here is the out come...

I actually quite like it, what do you guys think?
something differant from white or gold.

ive also added an anniversary Decal to the fuel tank to replace that horrid white saftey sticker that honda seem to place on every bike.

a quick 5 minutes with the hair dryer to soften up the old saftey decal enough to easily remove it and then i replaced it with this one of my own design.

here it is ' In situ ' on the tank..before ( with safety sticker)

and after...

my tribute to the 07 6th gen RWB...

Let's see the Candy Red VFR with its wheels!

I like the polished wheels on the RWB, by the way.

Wow, looks great Richard. Not sure if anyone has thought of the silver wheels yet, seen everything else. Nice idea with the decal, looks cool.

Not that it looks bad, but I prefer the stock wheels.

Not to bad especial for the amount of trouble you had to go too. I still say the white wheels look the sharpest, but to each their own... LOL I don't have one.. but if I did...

I like that Candy red with black wheels. Interesting, because I really don't like the Italian Red with black wheels . . . . It's all personal taste, though. I think the switch was smart.

I wonder what a red '07 would look like with white wheels. Those white one's from the previous gen's are trick.
I've seen ricers around here with red civic's and white wheels, doesnt look bad at all.

Darned nice! I had wondered what the black RWB wheels would look like on my Candy Red '07, and now I know. Thank you for that!

And I think the silver wheels look good on the RWB, too.

i think that candy red would look awesome if you polished the face of the back rim and the lips of both the front and back wheels. ive currently got the back wheel just about done and am procrastinating the front... it is a BITCH to do...
i thought it would look even better if i got to start with black rims, because the polished sections would pop out that much more.

Silver wheels on the RWB match the fork tubes, exhaust cans and passenger pegs nicely, but I still prefer the stock black set. Not a fan of the black wheels on the candy red. Sorry.

No, its an aftermarket accesory one. The genuine honda one had HRC printed in silver letters on it and cost twice as much...

but i have ordered the genuine honda carbon topcover for the top triple clamp.
due to arrive for the end of this month. Interestingly this part comes out of honda Europe.
