candy apple red

I love the color of my new 07, I think its candie apple red?The paint code is r101c-u. I have a new red Bellstar helmet that I really like but it clashes badly with the candie red and you know that you gotta match (at least that's what I told my wife) This HJC looks the bomb but can only find it on line. What do you think, will it match? Any others you can think of ?

They are sweet

I am RWB whore but I must say that the 07 red is sweet.at Long's there were several and if you thought one looks good they look better in a group.

I just oove the Burgandy 07's but sorry, that helmet doesn't do much for me. But then my helmet does not match my bike either. Will fix that when I get the steed painted.. Bike back to Pearl White and helmet flat black....no scratches.

I would think that you should concern yourself with mathcing the helmet with your suit not the bike. But others may disagree.

I've always thought that solid helmets the same color as a solid colored bike just looks a little off. Your helmet looks cool but it's hard to tell though without it on your head and you in your gear and on the bike. I'm getting a plain white helmet this winter, and am looking forward to getting away from my multicolored one.

That helmet is not my cup of tea either. I won't use the "G" word, but it's not very masculine. To each his own.

It is an RF1000. I got it from Dennis Kirk when they had one of their 10% off deals. My old helmet was an RF1000, too, but plain. The design puts a coating on the helmet that really keeps it looking good. My old one bore the scars of a lot of kamikazi bugs, and the midwest corn fields harbor some damn big bugs!

The carbon red looks good.....it just drives me nuts the large goofy-looking spoiler wings that they put on the back of helmets these days. Creates more booble-heading if you ask me as well.

Oh, and as for matching colors...when a bike is a solid color I like to have a multcolored (or black) helmet rather than match the solid color of the bike with a matching solid color helmet....with the exception of black on black. Just my preference though...

Besides the gross factor and the oohh - gotta have one of those factor, when is a helmet old i.e. foam breakdown, shell life... There's a bit of marketing to weed through. I like my Shoei RF1000 but I've had it for a few years. They don't make it in solid red anymore. Yep, it matches my bike. Not by design mind you, but it does. I heard 5 years or so but I'm skeptical.

I have a 07 also but i was told at the dealer the color is called Crush Candy Red? When i went to a custom paint shop they said they heard of that color and the bike's color could be that color. I'm looking for a Black rim just like ToeCuters.
