Picture request: your aftermarket rear sprocket

If you've got an aftermarket rear sprocket on your VTEC, please 1) post a picture of it, 2) tell me what brand it is, and 3) tell me where you got it. It makes no difference whether or not it's a 43t like the stocker or whether you went up a tooth or two.

well due to the fact that torque times rpm divided by 5250 equals horsepower... im just kidding around. i actually want to see some pix of aftermarket sprockets too, so bump...

no theres a lot of people with aftermarket sprockets... they seemed to take the bait a lot quicker on vfrd...

Well I guess since noone else will come out to play Ride Red,I suppose I'll go first.
There's really nothing special to see here,I'm just running a standard 43 tooth Steel JT sprocket and a D.I.D 530 Gold X-ring chain.
I'll be swapping the 530 chain and sprockets out this winter for the smaller,lighter 520 chain and sprocket set-up.
I bought my chain and sprockets at my local speed shop.

What I really would like to try on my VFR800 is the same set-up that I'm currently running on my RC51.
A Vortex F5 Black PTFE hardcoated Aluminum sprocket and a D.I.D 520 X-ring chain.
But I'm having no luck so far finding out if Vortex actually makes that F5 sprocket in 520 pitch for my bike.

Stosh, you have the strangest looking VFR ive ever seen.... with that in mind your sprocket on your VFR looks too normal to fit the rest of the colorful scheme. lol

Ive always wanted to hard anodize black the fork, frame and swing arm on mine. Silver just looks too generic.

If you think my bike looks strange now wait till you see it next summer.

I totally agree with you though,my current sprocket looks plain jane compared to the rest of the bike. That's why I'm ditching it and looking for something a bit more exotic.

One things for sure, there is no way a motorist can say "oh i didn't see you" on that bike haha. I would buy me a nice 520 kit with black alloy sprockets but my stock one is still in such a nice like new shape even after 14K miles and im not a wasteful guy. Good work on the custom unique look.

the front end certainly comes up a lot easier.

but over time you get a feel for it.
