guess some need thier EGOs stroked. I find it pointless along with post count some people (not saying on this forum but others I'm on) think thier high post count makes them special

I added a "Thanks" yesterday to a technical problem follow-up, because I like knowing what the resolution was. Many technical issues just go away and you never find out what happened.

Or, as in the case of "Can you balance", I thought I could balance and it turns out I can't, so I'll go add another "Thanks" there.

If nothing else, it saves me having to type, and that is also worth being thankful for...

Here's a tip.

If you click on the little triangle at the right of the Search box on the top right of the page, it'll bring up a dropdown box. If you click on Find All Thanked Posts, you can see all the posts that people have clicked Thanks. It may help you find useful information.
