3rd gen and 4th gen exhaust the same?

i've been seeing a lot of stuff that lists their full exhaust system to fit both gens, does anyone know if they are the same?

As far as I can tell the 3rd and forth do not mix. now if its a complete system they might, but I know the slip-ons are way different.

3rd and 4th gen exhaust

Yes, they are interchangeable. Most people get the 4th gen for their 3rd gen and get rid of the collector (heavy) and get availability of all the 4th gen slip-ons.

Most wanted full systems, TBR left side, Motad and Predator SS replacement systems from UK, and finally stock.

And on the slip-on question for 3rd gens, easiest in the world to make your own. Take your stock slip-on, cut off the neck and collar, weld onto ANY connector pipe and use whatever. I've done it 3 times, easy.

If memory serves, no, not without some serious modifications.
