96 seat removal

New Rider who just bought a 96 vfr 750. I can't figure out the trick to get the seat off and the user manual which would probably tell me is under the seat.

any tips?

Thanks,
-

The lever to release the seat is behind the helmet lock - which is on the left side. Pull the lever down to release. Congrats on the purchase.

Don't forget to use the key, it's almost a secret to use, but once known it's pretty straight forward.

Pull the lever as far down as possible. Then lift the seat back and up. The lift back is the key.
