HVMP Bar Ends

So, I've got a Pearl White 93 and decided to get the HVMP Bar Ends based on several discussions with other people and also several posts here. After talking with the company they told me that the later model ones would work for my 93. I got them in and they had a crescent piece on the ends. My clip ons did not have the crescent piece. So, I talked to the company, sent those back and they sent me new ones. They also manufactured some washers to act as spacers for the bar ends. So, I put them on with some new gel grips that I got. I was expecting a dramatic change with the vibrations that I felt. Instead it was more subtle. Does anyone else have these bar ends, and if you do, are you experiencing the same thing I am? I was thinking about getting a buddy of mine to manufacture some new spacers made out of nylon, or teflon and maybe putting a rubber gasket in there to try and dampen it down some more. I talked with the company and they told me that there is no way to completely get rid of the vibrations, only lessen them. The bar ends did that, I was just expecting more. Anyone have any suggestions on how to dampen the vibrations?

So, I'm having a friend of mine manufacture some nylon washers to replace the metal ones. I'm going to give them a try and see if they dampen anything. If anyone has any other suggestions, let me know. Also, this winter I'm going to check a few things, like the motor mounts for one. A good friend once told me to trace the problem back to the source and not the actual problem. Let me know if anyone has any other suggestions.

One thing that could make it better is to get new sprockets and a chain.... Old S/C's will cause handlebars and footpegs to vibrate.....

I feel a bit idiotic even asking this, and forgive me if it comes across as insulting, but have you done a good tune up including valve clearance check and carb sync?

I've often wondered, if you were to fill the bars with lead shot, wouldn't you think it would dampen the vibrations? Of course it would need to be fine enough to fit through the hole on the bar end.

Sorry it's been so long, yes, I've done a tune up and carb sync. Just curious as to what else could be going on. Any suggestions?
