New member, old VFR
Just acquired a very clean 1993 VFR in Pearl White. (always liked the color on a VFR). Basically stock but for some spacers under the handle bars and removal of the Canadian spec signal lights. (converted to the integrated factory type)
The sun was shining this morning, and a ride was tempting- but thought I had better wait for insurance / safety inspection/ registration, etc to go through first. So, today's spare time involved reading the owner's manual, leafing through the service manual, taking a few photos, and playing with Photoshop. I am sure I will have some questions here in the future. Have spent some time reading the VFRworld forums. LOTS of good info!! And i am sure that i have just scratched the surface so far. cheers, max911 |

+1 on waiting for all the proper paperwork and insurances. Without them is like really tempting the fates! I too always liked the pearl white. WELCOME and enjoy your ride.

The '93 white is one of my favorite VFRs ever made. It looks like you're still running the stock exhaust. It really looks good. How many miles / km are on it? Welcome.

thanks StewartJ. Reading your list of rides proves that you have a serious case of VFRitis! ;) The bike has 43,000 km (about 27,000 miles). Happily, the only thing on the bike that indicates that much mileage is the odometer. And, yes, it has the stock exhaust. (probably the quietest bike in my fleet)
