Conti Road Attack Review

I just wore out my first rear tire of a Conti Road Attack. I haven't read of too many out there with many miles so here's my thoughts. By the way this is my first post here.

The Conti's have done a great job for me. I'm not a real aggresive rider but I do love the twistys as we all do. I've put 6,000 miles on the tire and the rear is done (belt is beginning to show).

They are not as agressive as the Pilot Powers I've ridden but they seem to give me a bit more confidence because they aren't so aggressive. They have never lost traction in a corner or in the wet. I just ordered a new rear and look forward to wearing that one out as well.

I'd recommend them as great sport touring tires.

I concur. I bought a set because of this site's reviews, and love them. Wearing well at 3k.

I have been through 3 rear tires and 1 front on my vfr( 1 rear only had 3,000miles and it picked up a nail)... The front lasted almost 15,000 miles..

I really like the Conti road attack as it gives excellent traction/grip and a long life if you dont pick up nails with them.. I have gotten 6,800 miles out of a rear tire before cord began to show..
My trip to the Dragon last year left zero chicken strips front/rear and I never felt the tires slip or lose grip..

The rear tire usually costs $127 shipping included and the front tire cost me $85 at a cycle shop .

Right now I have 6700 miles on the front and it probably has approximately 3000 miles left in her, my rear has went 4500 miles and has about 400 miles left, I'll probably run Conti's as long as I own the VFR...

I am on my second set of the road attacks too. I got 9000 out of the first set. I liked them so much, I am on another set! I think I have 3000+ on the current ones and they are also still looking practically brand new. I am a lot more skilled and aggressive now than I was on the first pair, so we'll see what the mileage is like on these.
