Talking New tires

Wow!!! Just got both front and rear conti road attack tires an hour ago and wow!!! what a difference from the old Dunlops. This is the first time I bought new tires for my '98 and i'm really happy. thanks to you guys. thanks for all your good info's about this tire. It's like a totally different bike. Thanks again. Now we'll just see how long they last. if they last past 6000 miles i'll be happy.

The Continental's are with out a doubt the best money I've ever spent on my bike.

The single only good use for a Dunlop D204K is as an artificial reef.

I averaged about 5,000 miles on the rear and 9,000 miles on the front.

I haven't had Michelin's on my VFR so I can't compare the two. What I can compare is the price. No matter where or when you buy them, you can rest assured the Michelin tires will be at least $50-$60 more.

I got my CRA's on sale for $199 for the set with free shipping. They are listing them at $217 now.

Same website lists the Pilot Power 2CT as $315 for the set.

I absolutely agree, the CRA's are the best $ I've spent also. 1,100 miles so far and i;ve used every bit of the tire with confidance I couldn't say that about the dunlop

Road Attacks

Very Good Choice

I first put RT's on my VTR nearly 2 years ago and got 10760kms out of the rear. The replacement is now ready to be binned @ 11603kms.The front is still only half worn at 22500kms. The VFR got the RT treatment awhile ago and after a 1700 kms South Island trip twoup (NZ's South Island has coarse metal chip road surface) they are not sitting on nearly 9000 kms with back one a little over half worn. They with out a doubt the finest motorcycle tyres in the world.I would be interested to know what you guys pay for them in the States.

I paid $114.50 for the front and $147.25 for the rear plus $4.00 disposal fee and $50 for the installation. Total of $315.75. With tax it's around $325. I think could could have bought the tires on the internet a lot cheaper but I just couldn't
wait.
