Portland, Oregon VFRW meet up! June 13th

Hey everybody,

As most know, I am cagin' it up to Oregon with the gf in June for a weeklong vacation. I wanted to try and meet up with any folks who would care to see my ugly

in Portland and shoot the

. I was thinking like Friday, June 13th around 7 or 8 pm. We might be in Portland on the 12th, but the 13th probably would work better for everybody, and us.

Soooo, with the help of Miss Shorty, I was maybe thinking of the Montage (<<< clicky). It sounds good from Shorty's description of it. To be honest, any place that has good food sounds good to me, so I/we are open to suggestions.

Please do post up if you are in the area and think you might be interested. I promise I do not bite! Oh, and since I am the visitor, I know that you kind folks will not let me pay for my own food! hahaha! Messin'!

Portland brewing would be a good choice as well, lots of outside seating assuming the weather will be decent by then.

How about Lucky Labrador in NW, lots of places for people to put their bikes, covered outdoor seating, great bar, nice microbrews....

UPDATE:

Hey, we are gonna shoot for Montage if that is ok with everybody. Shorty highly recommends it, and thinks it will work great for us. Does 7:30 work for everybody?? Please let me know.

I lived in Everett for a while, then Arlington..... Portland isn't a bad drive!!

Oh, don't get me wrong, I love Portland; it's one of my favorite places and i wouldn't mind living there one day.

What I meant by long day is my day starts at 4AM. If I go to this I won't be back to Oly till 11PM or 12 midnite.

Looking like I'll be driving down in thy car as the wife just happens to have the day off, so going down earlier to hit up some spots I haven't seen in awhile. Sounds like a fun time for this event, more the merrier. Think Shorty needs to wear the VFRW thong HUH?
