Sportbike Northwest

Shameless plug here guys. I do some writing for a bike Ezine called "SoundRider! ( I warned you) SoundRider dot com.

We sort of "liberated" a bike thing from North of the Border called SportbikeWest that lasted nine years in Kewlona, BC. The RCMP said "no more! BTW, RCMP ain't like like Sergeant Preston and his dog whateverthehell the dog's name was.

This gig is in August Details at the website. Head count last year was I think about 550. We rent an entire fairground on the Washington side of the Columbia River and a private road used by the SCCA for thier timed events.

Without crunching too many numbers including tales of 180mph VFR's, you and about 500 other folks.. Talking to TM today about setting up a washrack. A clean bike is a happy bike.

Some of the "on the fencers" maybe will want to check out the "Maryhill Loop" on the net. As in last year there will be a suspension clinic there.

Any feedback on SBNW is appreciated. Good or bad. We are looking to improve and to make this not the SOS year after year. No bitching about the pitter-patter of a little rain though. The big guy handles all that.
