The video doesn't do that road justice. The elevation changes, tight turns and even the powdery sand in the corners all add to the experience that you can't see squinting at the video. It's worth the trip no matter what.

I like the "or something"... I'm thinking if we can switch it up and have multiple locations that would really open it up to some new roads. I'm not saying that Reg isn't the most excellent host because he is! Reg71 We could have 3 a year in different locations that way we don't drink Reg out of house and home... But if you want to have another Round Up then lets do it!

Not to get anyone specific to quit the forum or anything, but Drewl's house will be open again in the spring if anyone is interested. But we have all winter to alienate anyone who wants to make plans and have them changed again.

I'm all for having a mini California destination tour next year with Reg, Drew & RW's houses being the home base for three separate rides, each location would offer great riding destinations and would open up rides to a lot more VFRW riders who can't make a scheduled ride due to scheduling conflicts or distance being a issue, I predict 2009 is going to be the best VFRW California riding season ever

I would have to say 2nd and 3rd gear mostly. Speed were probably ranging from 20mph in the slowest corners with sprints to over 60 on the straights especially after passing that jeep trying to catch up. The statute of limitations is past on this so I should be exempt from any tickets!
