Warning: Picture Thread - Reggie's Roundup

Man, what a fun time! This was the best BBQ yet. I think that most would agree that Long (aka...Jackie Chan) was the man of the hour, and the life of the party! He had me busting up so much that my stomach hurt! I tried hooking him up with some local , but it didn't pan out. Long was starting his own mosh pit when we went to that heavy metal bar Hoovers. I have to say, that he left his mark on Atascadero, and will be talked about for a long time to come....especially about the fountain incident and swimming in the ocean at Morro Bay.

Thanks a lot to Reggie and his wonderful wife Terri for their hospitality, food, shelter, and lots and lots of booze! You guys are the best! You really know how to make folks feel at home! It was really cool putting more names to faces. Nepix (Casey), Scubalong (Long), Dudealicious (Bob) rode up together and got there Friday around 11am I believe. Drewl and SS were already there on thursday. Lots of great riding, sightseeing, laughing, drinking, etc....

Long and I thought it was best to cut a day early on Sunday with his foot possibly broken. We got down to SD in decent time, after miles and miles of lane splitting. It hit over 106 degrees north of LA for at least 30 miles.....it was painful just about....cooled down in LA though...a lot.

Following Reggie going towards Taft....and a eerie graveyard of old abandoned oil wells....mostly abandoned.






Well, we ended up at a gas station only meant for farmers, or fleet vehicles, and then we noticed that Brian (SLOVFR) was not there, so I went and backtracked, and what did I find??



While we were waiting for a gas can from Reggie, I found a water jug, and Brian found some old coolant line, so we thought "SIPHON", and after I got a mouth full of gas, we started sucking gas out of my bike into the jug....Reggie showed up with a GATORADE bottle, since the gas cans were too expensive. This was more than enough with the two combined to get Brian to Taft.

The rest of the crew arrived late on on Friday, and two imposters on a blackbird, and BMW...hahaha...just messing boys.

Conti's are working out great so far. I like them. Good grip/ handling.

The fountain & Long....well, let's just say that Captain Long (aka Jackie Chan) is a man of his WORD....and he doesn't back down from a challenge!
