Those are great picures, vwrxtrdwrxtrd. Thanks for sharing them. They make we want to take a trip somewhere. How was the weather? I would guess hot. If so, how did you hold up in it?

It did get a little hot I had to ditch the leathers and go to mesh, about half way through the trip.

Awesome Pics! I'm heading out to Colorado in 3 days with my Viffer and hope to sample many of the same roads! I have a sister that lives in Norwood so we'll use that for home base for a couple days, anyhow!

I did pretty much the same trip in my car a couple weeks ago. Started in Denver and headed south-west to Durango. Stopped in at Mesa Verde National Park, Four Corners, and Monument Valley. I then headed up 191 to Moab for a couple of nights, spending a day at Arches National Park. Headed on I70 back to Denver for a 1,200 mile trip. Unfortuneately I couldn't do the trip on my viffer. I saw a lot of the same sights as in the pics and highly recommend it to anyone thinking of visiting that part of the country.

Great trip. I'm thinking of taking 3 weeks off right after Labor day and hitting those areas. Thanks for sharing. You've got a potential calendar shot in there.

+1, my vote is the shot with Monument Valley in the background.

I drove x-country a few years back, and Utah was by far the prettiest part of the drive. I would love to go through there on a bike rather than in an under-powered and overloaded Nissan pickup truck towing a U-Haul.
