Anyone from NJ,NY or Pa riding this weekend?

Just was wondering if anyone wanted to get together for some riding within the small window of opportunity between Friday and Sunday where it might actually not rain, Saturday looks better but for those who aren't working Friday then maybe a quick trip to Bear Mnt might be nice via 7 Lakes Drive.

Heya Dino.

I was thinking about making a post for a weekend ride. I'll go, just give me the details. Would kind of prefer Saturday morning (got a bass fishing tournament on Thursday and won't be home late - I need some beauty sleep to try and keep up with your purrrty looks!).

Bass fishing! You are putting freshwater mercury laden New Jersey fish above riding! Cant you fish on a rainy day?

Oh man that sucks, I tried to call you on Saturday I went up to your area and I called you from the Welcome Center, then I hit Bushkills Park, let me say the falls were flowing like crazy! Oh and never eat at "Alaska Petes" the food sucks there.

Dino - Yea, I'm a bass fisherman at heart. But I don't keep (or eat) any fish. So they go right back to the same mercury-laden water! And by the way, I fished a tournament about 2 weeks ago, and it only rained 2 inches in the 8 hours I was out there.

PoconoVFR - Damn dude - sorry to hear about that! Now who's gonna show us those PA roads?

Anyway, I'm up for a ride. Let me know what you want to do, Dino. I'm in.

Damn Steve. Sorry to hear about the foot. You don't really need it to shift or brake, do you?

I really hope to be available for a ride but might need to head out to Long Island w/family. I'll know more this evening.

Bbwong is officially certifiable. Going to Lon-Gisland on the 4th of July weekend? You better leave now to get there by Friday night.

Hmm, a Friday morning ride? Well, put a post up Dino or DenT on where you are going and at what time. if I can make it, I'll post back on Thursday night.

OK, as of right now, early Friday looks good for me but I might need to cut my route short.

And it's pronounced LAWN-guy-lin. Yeah, looking forward to that trip. And to make matters worse, it's to go get the mother-in-law. ugh, just threw up in my mouth a little...

Dino - you have Monday off too? WTF?

yeah i work flex to... i opted for every other Friday off... with the holiday its i get a 3 week stint of no Fridays! Although i must admit, as of recently im more anxious for non rainy days than i am for weekends. What kinda of route you thinking about for Friday? Northern NJ/ New York/ or PA? We should avoid the flow of traffic to the shore due to the weather and holiday. noone i know has work that friday either so i will bet the roads near civilization will be populated and the LEOs setting speed traps.

Lets meet at the Sloathsburg Dunkin Donuts at 8:00 am and get an early start. You can find it on google Earth. Its Right on 17 N.B. on the left side in a small strip mall. And when you are 17 in Sloathsburg ride very very slow, the pigs are hiding everywhere in between all the businesses along the road. I once saw 5 cars/bikes pulled over in less than 30min.

You fuggers......tried the foot today it's not ready. DAM! I want to ride..the weather is good the roads are clean and you bastages are riding up stream this weekend. That is such a great ride. Watch the LEO, they will most deffinenetly be out in force this weekend. For the guys in Jersey be extra careful due to the little mis-hap last weekend on 80. I'm gonna' push this thing along. Shit if Haga can ride this weekend after back surgery..... I'll try for next weekend. 'Lil tape and a wrap ...might be good for three hours or so.

Sorry guys. I can't make it. I gotta head out to LI earlier than anticipated so I'd only have time to say hi then head back home and miss all the fun stuff.

Have a great and safe ride.

Hey guys. Not gonna be able to make this on Friday morning. Seems my roof sprung a little leak last night (f'n roof is only 10 years old, too) so I need to get someone in here ASAP, and my odds are much better of handling this on Friday versus Saturday. Have fun. I'll catch up on the next one.
