I have seen other VFR riders in this state(WI) and would be happy to meet/greet with anyone that shares my passion for the VFR. To the rest of the midwest I send out a big WHAT'S UP?! Weather is still good, lets Ride!
Hey JohnnyRR I'm up in the northeast part of the state near Eau Claire but I do get down around the Prairie du sac area a few times a year. Being that its snowing here today my riding season may be over a little earlier than usual,I normally ride til' late November & get it back out in March weather permitting. We have similar taste's I owned a blue & black Nighthawk S & currently have a 86' VFR700( though yours looks a lot prettier than mine currently) if it warms back up I wouldn't be opposed to going for a run before November.
Have you checked out www.wisconsinmotorcycling.com - nice bunch of guys - my 'home' MC site (under a different login).
I just picked up a 94 VFR so you may see me around next summer. I'll be making my rounds of the Wisconsin backroads.

Welcome to the larger world of the V-4, and to VFR's.Weather is turning cold here (though it might still be a bit warm here by Wisconson standards hehehehe) Glad to have you here.

hey vinny long time no see ,and next year i,ll be in wis more looking for a few good roads so any wis riders want to share their knowlege of the good roads i,ll be grateful for any info you want to share.
You can't go wrong for good twisties any where in the south west corner of the state. Riding the bluffs along the Mississippi from Dubuque, Ia to Superior, WI can be a thrill ride as well. Other than that its hit & miss I've been to some pretty cool places but was traveling w/ no map & no particular destination so I couldn't tell you exactly where to go. Door county (the peninsula) is a nice scenic ride. Northern parts of the state also very scenic but not much imagination was used in road contruction there are a lot of painfully straight, flat to rolling hills, very very boring rodes. MI's upper penninsula also scenic but kind of uneventful, the porcupine mountain roads can be entertaining if you don't hit any deer(I did last time I was there on my Venture Royale).
