Nice.....

Well whats ya know, mother nature decided to be nice today, so I took advange of it, only thing, my camera batteries had something to say about how many photos I'd be allowed, still it was great to get out and strech those legs, and I aint talking about mine, boy she likes to run.

LOL isn't this a hot Red? Wow! Now if only I had the camera settings right as Mt Rainier was in full glory in the back ground, Poop!

Where exactly is that RVFR? That is one nice untraveled road you got there.

LOL one of a road less traveled that for sure, it's one that crosses over the military reservation up here at Fort Lewis. I tripped over it at the end of the year and told myself I need to hit that one up when the weather allows at the risk of trespassing, sorta, I mean there's signs and all telling you where you are, but yet no gates nore a patrol, so figure whats the worse right ;) it's worth it.

We mtn bikers have a saying for a day like that, Jay....sch-weet! Just ask Derstuka! Soooo glad you were able to get out, I bet you were going stir crazy.

I got out to the Berryessa area today to try out the new forks....I hit 100 mph passing a car on Suisun Valley Rd...shhh...don't tell the local gendarmerie!

BTW, that bike is TOO clean, dude!

I am really pleased you were able to get out....I'll bet it felt wonderful. The mustard in the Napa Valley right now is at peak blossom, and you could smell the slightly sweet smell of it in the air while rippin' through the twisties.

Man, I love my VFR....I bought this bike primarily for commuting, but it really has taken hold of me....

Your bike looks naked without the tailbag, got out myself today and accidentally murdered a squirrel, it was like that commercial where the squirrel come out and expects you to swerve and does high 5's with his friends.

Did it happen to be sitting in Squirrelmans hand at the time?

Funny you caught that, I did wonder should I leave it on or not, I mean it does match fairly well, all though in just riding around I prefer not to have it, but since most of the time I have the camera stuff with me it become a necessity, much better than a tank bag IMO. is that another thread question?

Oeoo to the squirrel, leave any marks?

and Oh yes, VFRs are a great do everything machine every time I ride I get this what the H are you thinking about another bike for? Doh!

That is sweet that you got out, and in the Pac Northwest no less! The Northeast is in mud-season bigtime... AKA Mod-season!

The VFR is all I ever want on public roads, I am waiting to see how it tracks to determine if I need a little 600CC pony for the track.

Yes I had to take advantage of the weather.
Once the suspension is dialed in you'll find that a VFR very compatible machine to track on as well. Only thing that holds me back is.. can I afford to repair her after a get off? it will happen, thats where a 600 comes in, easy for parts, not all that bad on the pocket book, tons of stuff out there. Actually if truth be known, I've been eying a certain non Honda 750 for just this thing.

Hey there RVFR, myself and 3 other bikes hit the rode on Sun. also. we did about 100 miles or so. It was the nicest day of the year. You should grab some guys and come down for the Rose City 250 on April 6th. It is a blast. Last year there were bout 600 bikes. It leaves out of Beaverton Honda and runs to the Coast to Astoria, down 101 to Tillamook and back. Lots of fun. Check out the site. http://psndealer.com/dealersite/imag...cmc-250-08.pdf

Bah, you suck. I was busting through 2 foot snow drifts in my car last night. I ended up in the sticks last night on a road I like to ride on my bike, but this time there was 6 foot walls of snow and snow drifts.

Got out yesterday myself. put on 88 miles out behind Honey Lake in the desert. Had her up to 125 on the speedo. Little chilly, but I suffered through.
