Sat. Day 5th Of July Ride. Salem To the coast

OK, this all got started on another thread. So heres what I came up with. If this doesn't work for those of you I already talked with, suggest something else.

Meet at Shari's on Lancaster and 22. Kickstands up at 10am. Im going to get there at 9am and chow.

Link: Salem to Newberg Coast route [Motorcycle Route] at MotoWhere.com
Hope this Map works.

We will go back roads to Corvallis, Alsea, then the Coast back roads to end in Newberg.

Oh that sucks Shorty

Come down I-5 toward Salem. Once in Salem take the Detroit Lake Hwy 22 East exit. Lancaster exit will be your first exit on the and you will see shari's on the right.

So nobody could make the ride so I headed out a different route, one Im more familiar with.

I headed out thru Corvallis and Philomath to HWY 34. Prceeded thru Alsea and hit Newport (coast). I headed South to Florence and Hit the A&W for my all time favorite, foot long Coney Dog with the cheese ofcourse. From there I headed East on HWY 36 thru the beautiful Traingle Lake area to the scrungy Junction City. From there I took back roads that to me back to Philomath and Albany. Heres a few pics, nothing great.

Me Ready to Go

Benton County Museum, just thought I would look around.
