Hey Guys,
I'm the FZ1 rider who met you Monday up at St. Helens! I posted the pics I took of you guys at the St. Helens viewpoint in the Official VFR sighting thread . I am glad to hear that your trip is going well, and I hope it continues that way.
A news bulletin was released when you left Washington. Everyone on the western side of the Evergreen State gave a sigh of relief.![]()

UPDATE
Alrighty Reggie & Brian's West Coast Adventure fans! It is time for another update.
They got their two way communicators working once again, and are good to go! Reggie is running light and fast with all of the bolts he is losing. It is part of the VFR weightloss diet. He says it handles better than ever before. He is quick and nimble, and goes crazy when he hears a cymbol.....ok, maybe that was an old Vanilla Ice lyric....
They then traveled west towards the coast, stopped in Wren, OR, then continued on the 34 west and stopped in the coastal town of Waldport, OR. They stopped, had a romantic walk on the beach holding hands, and Reggie got down on his knees asked Brian to marry him! Brian slapped Reg in the face and told him that he could never afford him, and that he was just a tease! What a day! hahahaha! They just grabbed some Chinese food, then were going to keep heading south. Weather was great, and the road was moving well. I am not sure where they stopped to camp, but I am sure I will get that update soon.
Map to where they are at/near...

I got to say this is a very cool and funny concept having a thread keeping us all updated where Reggie and Brian are! I'm looking forward to any more updates/pictures!

Wow things are getting better... and lighter. lol.
send pics of the wedding.
Deny everything!

UPDATE:
Ok, the saga continues (I wonder if I get a promotion after all this? hahaha)
They ended up in Yachats, OR, for camp. Weather good. Warm enough. Brian didn't sleep good though...he has a sore throat () Reggie slept good. No showers so they had to do a sink bath. I guess it was a bitch to fit a grown man in the sink, but they did their best. Peeeeeyuuuuu..... Oh well he says. They are now eating breakfast at Drift inn cafe.. Very quaint. Reg likey.
Brian wanted to meetup with Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox, so I gave them directions to the place (trees of mystery) just south of Crecent City, CA. Have fun boys!
More to come.....

epic ride,, which one gets the monkey butt award?

UPDATE:
Minor mishap. As our duo of brothers attempted to get closer to a railroad bridge for a picture riding down a dirt road, some loose dirt/sand caused Brian to drop his bike at low speed. No injuries, very low speed, and most of the scratches incurred just kinda enhanced the scratches from the crazy backing up lady in Weed, CA.
They are currently in Coos Bay, OR, and their destination is the Redwoods National Forest just past Cresent City, CA. The duo is running low on $$, and resorting to other means of overnight accomdations. The plan for today is, FREE camping, that is, find a spot somewhere in the woods, or a lonely road, hide/cover the bikes, and there you do, instant camp ground, and it is ALL free! They will also be on the lookout for fresh roadkill to grill up, and stop to milk any dairy cows that they see....
Oh, on side note. If you would like to meet up with the band of brothers in the Northern Cal Coast area, and you are over 18 (or have your parents permission) are up to date on your shots, and do not mind sailor talk, please speak or forever hold your peace.....
So their back in Oregon after having breakfast at the Drift inn cafe in California![]()

Tell them not to trash the bikes too much, they have another ride in a few weeks. Everyone is expecting the best they have to offer...after giving up Susanville and all.

Tell them to watch "Man vs Wild"
Nothing like roadkill kabobs and cheap prostitutes.
Epic ride...
Only Stuka might be able to top that.

UPDATE:
Reg and Brian made it just south of Cresent City, CA last night and camped out in the Redwood National forest. Apparently, the boys decided against "free" camping, as they found a decent camp ground called "Mill Creek Campground" (I wonder how many mill creek campgrounds there are in the US? I know half a dozen myself) which had showers. They are gonna try and see Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox today, and then continue down south. We will see what the day brings for them.....

Sure hope they don't pass up Hwy 1 out of Leggett.

UPDATE:
The boys are munching on some grindage (eating breakfast) in Crescent City, CA this morning, and will be heading south on the 101 after the Paul Bunyan stop I believe, then Reggie said they will hit the "lost highway" for a bit, then back to the coast on the PCH heading south. Reggie said that Brian is a little under the weather.
From the sounds of it, Brian seems to have a black cloud following one step behind him the entire trip.![]()
UPDATE
I just got off the phone with Reg and Brian and they are on their way to casa norcal to spend the evening. they told me to post up and let everybody know DO NOT ever ride down the lost coast highway! I will make sure they get a nice shower and then we are going out on the town for a bit...hehe....should be fun.
Hey everyone! Its SLOVFR and Regie here too. We got in to NCB's pad and what a relief to get off those machines. We went on Lost Coast Hwy and like Reg said " there is a reason its LOST!" The road was terrible and Im sure Reggie lost another 10 lbs with of junk but not in his trunk. I am supprised that my GIVI bags are still on. It got us behind but we made it here to Santa Rosa about 9:00pm. We showered, much needed, and NCB took us down town to eat and the local dive bar, although there was nothing there I would feel safe diving after. We are beat and sore so we will get some needed rest. I am not feeling 100 % but doing ok. We will be home soon and have hundreds of pictures and hours of Video shots. Thanks for all the support! Brian

Reg here. Made it to NCBs crib. Thankfully hot showers and cold beer were ready. Good food and skanky (is it okay to say skanky?) women downtown in the classy bar with the stripper pole. Good times. Tomorrow links us up with Silversurfer800 and then more twistys... Anyone have some Doan's bachache relief? I think we could use it... I think we have enough video to make a documentary. Eat your heart out Ewan MacGregor... There will be several gear reviews and VFR comments to follow I am sure. Not to mention my usual ride report...
