    east coast meet

Alright boys and girls let's start kicking the ball around. I'm tired of this colder and wetter than normal spring and need something to look foward to. Let's start hearing some ideas for a meet. A day trip, a weekend, a place, etc....

    I am, but unsure when?

I thought about having another Bubba Z BBQ too.

I have vowed to myself - and I'm working on convincing my wife - that I will spend some more time traveling on my bike this year.

I can't commit to meeting in NC just yet (assume that's where you're referring to, Y2KViffer), but I'm working on it!

Besides, lets see how the Devils/Hurricanes end up. Not sure I want to meet anyone from Carolina if Jersey doesn't win!

It doesn't have to be NC, just somewhere kinda central to everybody.

I was at the game last night.....WOW...what a wild final 10 minutes!! We were loud and proud. Marty was pissed....slammed his stick twice and broke it in half. Playoff hockey is awesome!!!

Hey an east coast meet up sounds good - do you guys wanna do a day ride and camp? I am in NYC and summer is great here - out of the City that is. If you wanna do a day ride and if you are near NYC I would like to suggest an early ride to the shore in Long Island or even the Jersey shore (great riding there also). There are some somewhat remote locations upstate New York and NJ that have some good riding and parks, but we may want to check into permits if we want to ride and then bbq or sumthin. I also have relatives in NJ and Ct with big houses that may consider hosting a day ride meet up and BBQ. Also let me invite anyone here to come by and visit me and my MC in Brooklyn. We are a family MC and enjoy hosting out of town riders and riding out of town to motorcycle events and meeting other riders. Another area that is biker friendly and has some nice riding is Poughkeepsie/Fishkill area in NYC.

So who's hosting? Better yet, who's hosting near some good roads?

LOW of 28 degrees and salt free roads are a luxury if you ask me...

Fair weather? You have got to be kidding! Most of us rode over 250 miles (or more Randy) to get to the West coast BBQ! The winds were blowing over 40mph; so hard that you had to lean into it just to stay in a straight line. Most of us might be from Cali but you have to remember Cali is over 600 miles long. We dwarf your puny little girly states! On top of that this was the THIRD get together with over 15 people each time... Let's see what those East coasters can do! Come on, i throw down the challenge!

I laugh in your general direction...

Emon seems like my kind of people. I don't think you would go wrong if you were to connect with him and let him show you around, he seems to have a knowledge of good adult oriented entertainment, which I certainly applaud. You East Coast guys need to rally around this cat, of course he'd probably think you guys were all pussies.

You used a tank of gas to get to SLOIII? You poor things...

Remember, the call out is on Californians, Randy is definitely king so far, but he has more in common with us Northerners and East Coasters.

Girly states? Yeah, Michigan is definitely over 600 miles long too...get off your box.

    definitely 600 land miles.

From my brother's town, Dundee, to Ironwood or Copper Harbor are both over 600 miles.

Dundee to Copper Harbor on Google Maps

if we did have to cross water...

but we have this little gem called the Mackinac Bridge(pronounced Mack-a-naw). You Californians might have heard of it since it's a wee bit bigger(er..longer) than your Golden Gate.

When are you gonna learn is not the length but the width!

    Let's see live in California...

    OR Michigan...

    WOW! Nuff said!

Now, seriously, all jokes aside... I hope you guys can get a good group together and have as much fun as we did on the West Coast. If you don't show up you don't know what you're missing! Good luck with your event!

Attempting to compare the Mackinac, naw, chew, bridge to the Golden Gate is laughable at best. Have you ever seen the ocean? 600 miles is roughly half the length of CA for the geographically challenged, so basically you are talking 6" vs. a foot....go to the real East Coast, hang with Emon, hone your skills, and then maybe you can quit chearleading and get in the game.

Look at Surfer trying to get the last word in, ROFL! You go boy.

Wow, a dispute over Ca and east coast. Being I grew up in Ca and now live in Cleveland I have both good and bad to say about each place. First off, there is no place in the world that even comes close to NorCal!! Now that being said, the east coast also has it's share of fun. Northern Ca has Great America (I moved before they changed it to Paramount's) but Ohio has Cedar Point. No comparison. Cedar Point wins by a long shot. Ca has the 101, east coast doesn't. Ca win's. Ca has 5 times the traffic, at least. East coast wins.
My point we both have good and bad. Being I'm out here on the east coast, we are gonna get something together and it will be a great time. As long as there's beer, riding, food, and laughs we all win.
So let's stop the stupid shit, get this planned and get on with it!!!

Not going to lie, I've got plenty of time on my hands. No shock on the bike . It's at Ohlin's right now. Otherwise I wouldn't even be on the site lol.

East Coast guys...we need to narrow down to some locations with decent roads. There isn't anything by me in Michigan but I'd be willing to head a few states over to find some...

I don't consider Ohio the East Coast Since when have Michigan and Ohio been bordered by the Atlantic Ocean.....It is my opinion that Midwest is a more geographically correct description.

The East does have some great personalities, which has been demonstrated here. I would be proud to call Bitterpill, V4Bear, Bubba Z, Emon, Matt, Joey Dude and Wrestler, members of my VFR posse.

This was supposed to be a thread to organize the troops but turned into some guy from Michigan attempting to punk the Cali contingency Of course he ain't got the stones for that
