Deals Gap VFR meet in early May?

Is anyone hearing of a Deal Gap VFR meet the first weekend in May? My Super Hawk buddy says there is one scheduled then but I can't find anything here about it. Their SHOG rally is the same weekend. If anyone has some details let me know. We usually stay at the Two Wheel and it's time to reservate.

Check out VFRDiscussion.com They are planning a Deals gap ride in honor and memory of one of our friends called TexasMac who died in an accident while riding with some friends. It is planned for early May. I think that is the group ride you are referring to.

I am up for it, depending on if I am still close enough to go and can get the time off if I have a new job by then. hehehe

I found it over there. It looks like a pretty good group looking into it. We already booked into the Two Wheel for Friday- Sunday, but they're staying at the Microtel back up the way.

It sounds great. If anyone can get the exact dates and times etc... please post them. I would really like to make this ride.

Here's the link to the official info. I recently hooked up with another member from vfrd and after he showed me a few pics and vids from last year, I was pretty much convinced. I guess the day to leave would be the 2nd of May, and that's pushing it to get up there by the next day. I might just leave the 1st if I can get my finals out of the way. If you plan on going, hit me up and we can hopefully coordinate this so we can all ride together. There's a few riders from this area going.

I'll be there. Already have my room reserved at the Phillips motel just up the road from the microtel. It's May 3rd-6th. Hope to see some of you there!

Just go to www.dealsgap.com . There is a lot of great information and pics there including maps, hotel accomodations and merch. Hope this helps. I'm gonna get there at some point this year but don't know if it will be that weekend.
