I'm organizing a ride to Cherohala Skyway on Aug 16th. You can see the thread here: August 16th Trip to Cherohala Skyway

So far there's one guy from NC and at least 3 from GA going. C'mon guys, keep him company!

Heading out towards Pigeon Forge Tommorow for most of the week. Thinking about losing the family for a day and hit Cherohala probally around Tuesday.

Im in Garner, Work all week but typically have all weekend to ride.

Just tell me when and where.

i live in kernersville NC and work in greensboro
mines currently down needs a r/r and stator and im prolly gonna throw in a vfrness in there, im jus tryna get everyone riled up cause i dont see enough vfrs out!

on a side note carolina euro on randleman rd greensboro has moved to a new location like 100 yards away and its nicer, and now there a ducati dealer also, the duc truck (ducati semi) will be out there with plenty of demo bikes if anyones bored aug 8-9 .... nice to ride some of there bikes makes u realize how nice the vfr is!

and aug 16th i will be in nj... sounds like a fun trip though

Are you ever in North Raleigh? A week or so ago I saw a silver VFR in my office complex (The Forum). I was on my white VFR and I waved.

I dont think I pulled into the parking lot at Forum Building but I may have been in the area. May be another?? I ride everywhere and I think my truck is getting mad at me. The transmission seals started leaking from sitting so long.

Rhino, I work in Garner on 401 south just past Lowes on the left. Stop in and intro yourself. Look for the blue and orange tractors. My bright yellow viffer is out front. Mchase live close by, he has an 07 RWB.

Another Greensboro NC guy here. I've talked to couple of others in the area like NCPaul but I'm currently rebuilding the bike after a crash north of Danbury. Broken collar bone and some ribs. Fun Fun.

So I'm healing and rebuilding at the same time but it's slow going. The more I remove from the bike the more I find that I need to replace.

Keep me in mind hopefully I can start riding again in 4-5 weeks.

I offered this up on VFRD but if ya'll want to have a meet and ride to my house I have adult beverages and food if you just need to turn a wrench.

I could have swarn I saw a yellow VFRer in Garner Saturday afternoon, but not sure. I wasn't on the bike Sat., was with the wife in her car.

And I was on I-40 last week and thought I saw a red one. The guy waved, but by the time I saw him I was passing him and didn't have much time to wave back, sorry dude. This was just south of Benson.
