AZ Riders???

I keep wondering what has happened to all the AZ riders on here. I think everyone has jumped ship and gone over to VFRD......I have no clue why. This forum is a lot better in many ways.

Well, if anyone still around, Id like to do some ridin. I will be going to Phoenix a few times in the next couple of weeks, so I won't be doing many weekend rides until the 1st of March. I also have the 21st and 22nd off for rodeo days too.

Nungboy is an active AZ member on here. Drop him a line for a ride or whatnot.

I'm in N. Phoenix - Cave Creek and Union Hills area. I'd be up for some rides. Seems like most members (especially on VFRD ) are in the Tucson area - I don't get down that way too often, I should.

Funny about VFRD: that's actually the first forum I saw and joined when I bought my bike over a year ago, but have never posted anything there for some reason. I soon after found this forum and find I enjoy it a lot more.

I'm here....and gone....and here. I thought there were quite a few Zonie's on the site but now that you mention it, I'm drawing a blank. I'm up in Peoria but about to leave again.

I'm gonna ride down to Tucson soon. (This weekend if it is good weather.) I'm the Flaf holder (from that other forum) and want to deliver it to Tucson for it's next leg. Post more there than here, but like it over here as it's less 'regimented'.

Have no fear...Wonderdog is here! Umm, I mean Nungboy...
(Thanks DerStuka!) I am in Tucson and do look forward to riding with someone...I am slow because the VFR is new to me and I am breaking it in. I am also doing alot of yardwork lately on the weekends (planting trees) so it is hard to get out during the weekend days (at least for a few more weekends). I do sneak out around dusk sometimes to enjoy the sunset rides. I hope to connect to y'all soon.

Hopefully I'll be in sunny, hot AZ in 1-4 years, depending on when my German tour is complete. I'm hoping to get my last assignment to Luke, and live in Litchfield Park, or around the Goodyear area. I was stationed in Tucson for 3 years from '95-'98 and really enjoyed it. I just didn't like that Phoenix had all the good concerts and all the major sports teams. I was constantly going the the Phoenix Coyotes games, and I miss that as well, however I don't miss the traffic on Camelback and Bell roads. At least the bypasses were done last time I went through there.

Maybe you just ran em all off

We will be riding Saturday, and Sunday, outta Tucson if anyone here is interested, route to be determined. 2-300 miles.

It will be a spirited ride I'm sure, but don't let that stop anyone from riding with us, ride your own pace, we stop and regroup anyway.

So either pm me, zonaman, or post, send up smoke signals, whatever it takes, its gonna be a great weekend to ride!!

I would love to ride but I still have a big weekend date with 7 palm trees that need to be planted in the back yard. I'll be swinging the axe into that marvelous caliche and rock infused "soil" that we have here in Tucson. Enjoy the ride; hope to meet you Tucson guys soon!

Lived in Tucson for 16 years...... I have a buddy that still lives in Tucson with a Strom1K who is always looking to ride, could I hook him up with you guys? I can vouch for him, he's a good guy! I get down that way at least once a year and I would like to meet all of you AZ guys. Let me know if you would accept my buddy on your rides and I'll try to get you folks together. Thanks!

In the future, drop me a PM, I have a buddy in Tucson who has a mini excavator who could probably help you out by digging the holes for you......

Just wondering tho, you can vouch for him,,, but who's gonna vouch for you???

Have him check that "other" board too, more SW rides seem to get posted there.
