Texas vfr

HEY,
I live in Highland Village just west of you and ride the Muenster run all the time.
I ride with a guy on a Buell and have owned 4 liter bikes before this and love to ride the vfr more than any of them.
I would love to meet you and go for a ride.
Maybe in lewisville and head up to Muenster or if you have a good place to ride around Plano.
Also do you know about Blue Goose bike nite every tues at 7pm at Blue goose cantina on Midway Rd just south of Beltline in Addison.
Lots of good folks go there.

I'm in Denton but ride through Plano twice daily on my way to and from work in Richardson. I swap between riding my 00' VFR and my 99' Yamaha Venture (road sofa) bike......but most days I'm on my 00' VFR.

Hey... Good to see this many VFR's in the N. Dallas area. I didn't think there were that many of us!

I'm on a 2005 with over 13K on the clock and am probably just one more ride away from a 12-step program! I live in Rowlett, work in Dallas and Plano... and am always ready to go for another run.

Just this week I covered over 1,000 miles in 2 1/2 days through eastern Oklahoma, northwest, central and southwest Arkansas.

I'd be willing to help get a ride together if someone would like to help out. I'd hate to plan the thing and then be the only guy to show up!

What do you think? Anybody up for a good 1/2 day ride to start? Friday or Saturdays would be the best days for me.

Let me know... and let's ride!

I buy all my tires at Cycle Gear in Plano. They're off 75 on the west side of the freeway just about 1/4 mile south of Park. They seem to have a good selection, solid inventory and as good a price as anyone. They will mount both (usually in less than an hour depending on when you get there) and offer extended coverage (though I don't usually purchase that -- I seem to wear them out before that pays off).

You do have to deliver wheels off the bike, so if that's not an issue, you're good to go.

BTW...I'm currently running the Dunlop Qualifiers and really like them. Great feel and durability. Over 2,000 fairly aggressive miles and they still look good.

Bike nite from Denton

Hi Jason,
I know you are going to love your vfrr.
I'd say let's send out an email to your list and make up some small orange cards just like I used for my bike nites to hand out. They have to be big enough to stand out and small enough to fit in a bike jacket pocket.
Start the ride from denton Cycle ctr to Twin Peaks in Lewisville by Vista Ridge mall.It is also very close to bike rollercoaster. From there you can build a crowd to do real rides with.
What time do you close the store?
7pm would be a good time to leave denton and it is about 15 min ride to twin boobs- sorry twin peaks.
They have reserved bike parking and there are already some cruzers there.
The food is good, the girls are hot and there is seating ten ft from your bike outdoors.
Pick a date to start, I travel alot during the week.

JASON... hey man!!! Okay, I'm down with the offer! The ride might be a little farther to see you, but by the time I get back home, the break-in would be HALF over!

You're on bro! As a matter of fact, I was going to ply on some Pilots next anyway! I at least need a new rear and likely both. Riding with your bro today, I melted through to the first cord! I love the way those VFR's burn up tires!

Taking delivery of the "sofa" (Nomad) Tuesday or Wednesday of this week! Your bro is gonna haul my butt up there to get it. Just delivered the Bandit to him tonight! Keeping it in the family and keeping it real!

Great to see you on VFR World. Have you seen the calendar? Check out January (it might look familiar).

Let's go ride!
