San Diego Palomar Ride 7-5-08

What a nice day it was.....members, Scubalong & son (Long), Nepix (Casey) derstuka (Jason) & Long's brother & his friend decided to go for a stroll on this beautiful Saturday morning. 3 Viffer's & two ducs was the team for the day. I didn't get a ton of pics, but here is what I did get. It was a very fun day indeed! We stopped by Long's casa on the way home. He is a great guy! I feel a BBQ coming on!

Nepix & derstuka's bikes at mama's kitchen on the top of Palomar.

Dr. Long & son rollin' in.

Closeup of Long and son.

Long's brother's friend "Vo" rollin' in on his beautiful Ducati 996.

Long's brother on the red Ducati 749 in the background.

Some of the bikes up top of Palomar mtn. It was early. On a Sunday, it is not uncommon to see a 100+ bikes in this parking lot.

Vo's Ducati.

Stopped at Nessy's burgers for some monster size burger's and fries. From left. Long's son, Long, and Casey (Nepix)

From left...Poseur aka derstuka, Long, and Casey

Looks like you guys had a good one.

Hay-soon, Nice to see my old stomping grounds

I'll have to get in touch with you next time I'm down there.

I'll even lend you a pair of scraped up pucks

Good times, I wish I came back down to SoCal more often, but when it's snowy up here, I'm usally down there once a month.

But if you or any of the VFR world wants to come up here I have a 7 room house, ride areas that make the Dragon short & slow, not to mention MMP.

Oh & I promise not to argue about any of the Gen's

No problem Long....it was a lot of fun. Next time I have some different routes planned for us. I do agree, it would be more fun solo, but at least your son got to have a good time hanging on the back.
