San Diego to Idyllwild Ride 8-31-08
Mr. West (Viff) and I took a little stroll today. We left at 7:30am, and just got back about 3:15pm or so....after logging 315 or so miles. We started in SD, went thru the back country, Ramona, Santa Ysabel, Warner Springs, a mexican lunch in Idyllwild, then over and down to Palm Desert, back up, over to Palomar, up and down, back over to Mesa Grande, thru Ramona and home. It was a great day!
Here are some pics I thought I would share. It was some great riding today.... Viff heading out at 7:30am...the MONDO windshield ready to take on any bugs out there!   West is astounded by the beauty of the viffer!   The road ahead....thru Anza Valley  Taking it all in....  ....Westley pulling a James Dean The "orange stealin'" poseur is back! Man, I can never lose this guy!  The old girl sitting pretty....wanting to be spanked again  ....ahhhhh no, I am not talking about West you sickos! Cruising it...  West hanging on my tail on the way up to Idyllwild....  Lunch time! ARRIBA ARRIBA ARRIBA! Yep, dat's right...Arriba Mexican food in Idyllwild, CA!   James Dean himself....  The viffer and the radian have some company up top of the infamous "Palomar Mtn!"  West taking it all in....thinking of which bike he can swap for his!  Poseur/Orange Stealin' freak again!  It's past West's bedtime I think....I tuckered the feller out!   We met a fellow vifferonian (she didn't have it today) up on Palomar with her hubby...she was admiring my steed....I gave her a card and told her to join the fam!

Hey hey, TWO hours of sleep... I was tuckered out!
Had a prime time! Thanks for showing me all the good roads, twas a blast. Our way back up the road we went down was intense... I pushed the Radian harder than I ever have before.
