    Alarm system

    Hi everybody,

    Im a new member I just want to know if the scorpio brand alarm system SR-i900 or SR-i600
    are easy to install to 2007 Honda VFR models?

    You're gonna need to get creative but it can be done, just have the tech manual (with the updated electrical schematic) and plan everything out before tool meets bike...

    PS: You are gonna get the remote disable and backup power, right?

    scorpio alarm

    I was reading the scorpio instruction online it looks okay to me but I will double check it. I think I will add the remote ignition disable,Battery back-up and the connector kit. Their prices are not bad less than $25 each.

    Scorpio is a very nice system and with planning, easy to install, getting all the extras is a good thing. I would caution identifying your system in case a bad guy somehow puts this thread and your bike together...

    If you get the wiring harness for the VFR it's about a 30 minute install. I put one on mine about 18 months ago and with the harness it's basically a plug-and-play type of installation. Without it there are only a couple of wires to splice into as I recall and still shouldn't be too difficult.

    With the exception of the turn signal taps, everything else is plug in via the model-specific harness you can buy from Scorpio...
