Speaking of the Indy Moto GP -

Who's planning on going? It looks like Marc and I are planning on riding
out, and have just begun looking at the details.

Any recommendations / comments on where the best seats are? Anyone
already have tickets?

I am going with a buddy of mine, he has a 96 and I have a 97. We bought our
tickets and booked a room on Hotwire for Fri & Sat. We got a great deal on
the hotel. We'll be heading there from Chicago area. I think our seats are
at the end of the straight where the twisties start.

I doubt if anyone (or at least any of us poor regular slobs) has actual
tickets yet, but I have two seats assigned at the South Vista Deck (3rd of 4
choices). Don't really know if they're the best seats.
If seats are assigned in a fair and orderly manner, that means that my first
two choices (SOUTHWEST VISTA DECK & E PENTHOUSE) are already filled. I
applied for tickets before 7/19.
