Pegaso carbs? NVFRC

One for each intake doesn't seem to make much sense but I can't picture any other combination. Can anyone enlighten me (I tried Hari Krishna, and it didn't work). My understanding is that it's all related to flow velocity. One big- ass carb would have very low flow velocity through it, meaning it would tend to run lean, particularly at low rpm. Two smaller carbs each have a higher flow velocity, even though there's the same amount of air going through them. Higher velocity means better atomization and less lean running. I could be wrong, but that's how I understand the setup. They're sure as heck not putting them on there for kicks, given the price of carburetors... later, Johnj _______________________________________________ vfr mailing list vfr@xxxxxx For subscription and delivery options: https://lists.cs.wisc.edu/mailman/listinfo/vfr |

One for the left side of the combustion chamber. One for the right side. Hey, there are two exhaust pipes as well! > One for each intake doesn't seem to make much sense > but I can't picture any other combination.
