Great service

Hello listers,

I haven't posted for a while, due to life being incredibly busy, but wanted to relate a good story - last spring at almost exactly this time (53 weeks ago), I replaced my VFRs battery with a Westco 12V12-B. This spring it was dead (it sat for about 4 months). I called Westco and a very courteous agent answered - they shipped me a free replacement under warranty, no questions asked except for the original picking number off the web order (comes on your e-receipt). No holding on the phone, or leaving messages either - a warm body answered after a very short message (no number punching to get to service either ala 'if you want sales, press 1," etc). BTW, even though I discovered the problem 2 weeks ago, I was giving it a couple of weeks to see if it hung in there after a recharge. It didn't. Technically, I was about a week over the warranty at the time I called, so they could have simply said no we can't help you.

My thanks to Westco for excellent customer service! I highly recommend them for your next replacement battery.
