has any one used or know any one who has a racing fearing on a 1995vfr 750cc?????

i need some info on racing fearings. has any one out there used one? i need to know how well they go together on the bike. i have a 1995 vfr 750cc. it was stolen and dumped and it needs a mid and upper fearing which is like $1500.00 and i saw a one piece racing fearing for $700.00. and i am debating weather to buy stock fearings or get the racing feaing. i need advice. i want to get this bike back on the road. sny help at all would really help.

Unless you would be riding on the track only, forget it. The stock bodywork is complex. Getting aftermarket stuff to mount up well and mounting all the other bits to it is not practical.
