'93 Starter question

Will the starter off a later generation VFR work on a 93 VFR? Looks
like too many starts in 156K miles.

Er, probably! (The '90-'97 engines are nearly identical.)

However, the starter clutch (not the starter motor) is often the
culprit on these engines. Dunno if that applies to yours, though...
