Round one with the Insurance.

Well I spoke to one of the Team members that is handling my claim
with SF. She was pleasant, and projected the 'have positive outlook" vibes.
She took the information on where the bike is and admitted that
taking it to the shop was best.
In fact the only sticking point seems to be that her information says
that only my helmet is covered when my agent says that all my gear is.
She did conference call him immediately and they agreed to get it
sorted out. Ron, my contact in the agents office, volunteered to take
the responsibility for keeping me informed on this one issue.
I did tell her that I'm trying to get to my Doctor for some sort of
follow up, but there were issues with Office staff there.
She said "no problem just call me after you get through with them"

So far so good.

I've had State Farm on all my many vehicles since I was 15. I have always
loved their service and their "make me happy, no matter the problem" attitude. I
also like when they bring their checkbook, and have always written me a check
on the spot, either @ the bike dealership, the Jeep dealer, or even in my
driveway.

I've sent my agent an xmas card for the past 20+ years, if that tells you
anything. Good folks.
