5th gen fork spacer length?

Anyone happen to know off the top of their head (or in a bin in their
garage) what the length of the OEM fork spring pre-load spacers are?

I've got a 98 that has non-stock springs in it, and since I'm much
closer in weight to the 'average Japanese Test Rider, than the guy that
I purchased it from, I'd like to put the front end back to stock, and
see if I like it any better than what I have now.

I was able to source what I think are OEM springs from a friend who
also has a 98 (he went with stiffer springs), and he also hooked me up
with what he thought were the stock spacers as well. Only issue is the
spacers he provided me with are approx 2 inches long, where the photo in
the Honda service manual shows the spacer as being at least twice that
long. So... anyone know what the stock length of the spacers is supposed
to be? The Honda manual does not spec the spacer length, but they do
spec the free spring length (14.75 inches, which the ones my friend gave
me are).

Thanks for the help --Bill

Bill:

1 & 15/16" is what came out my '98 this spring when I upgraded, just
measured them.
