Gen 5 HIDs blowing fuses??

I have a '98 that recently was fitted with HID bulbs by the dealership. Soon after, I've noticed that I keep blowing the #10 fuse that controls the lights and everything on the dash. Only the turn signals and clock work after the fuse blows. I substituted a 15-amp, then a 20, but they don't last either. If I move to a 30, I'll be right at the amp load for the wiring...not good.

Is anyone riding a 5th Gen with HIDs, and if so what fuse are you using? I don't think I have a short, as this problem never camp up until after the headlight change. Thanks for your help!

RE: Gen 5 HIDs blowing fuses??

If you had the dealer install this conversion, and now it does not work
correctly, why not have the dealer pull it out and put back in the original?
I am skeptical of HID "conversions" for any vehicle.
