Cross Country Route Planning - Winter Considerations?
Planning a ride from San Jose, CA to Atlanta, GA. Not sure when, precisely,
so I'm curious about weather. If I make the ride in October, which passes/routes will be too difficult? November? December? How far south will I need to go? If you're going to use Interstates, I would pick up I-40 to Memphis then drop down to I-20. I-70 is pretty "iffy" that time of year.
