Re: Another Pirelli Tire Deal / further information

Fellow listers/luckers...

If you are contemplating purchase of the Pirelli Diablo Strada tire to get
a free front tire,
take note ;

I had written a quick note of thanks to the list ,and Andrew, for
bringing the offer by Pirelli to my attention. I also stated that I had
taken advantage of the offer, & mentioned my purchase of a rear tire from
American Motorcycle tire. I was a bit alarmed to learn tonight that ( as
another poster mentioned) the "fine print" in Pirelli's offer stated the
tire purchased must be from a Parts Unlimited dealer (to be eligable for the
free front tire from Pirelli )
Checking back on the American Motorcycle Tire website tonight, I see they
added a note to their home page stating that they, American M/C Tire, are a
Parts Unlimited dealer !
( Yea!) Looks like I will be gettin a free front tire!
(as will lister John, who'd mentioned in a post he'd purchased from them
too.)
Unfortunately, looks like prices were raised a few bucks since I ordered my
tire from them- but still a great deal & much below sug.retail prices.. I
thought you might want to know...Joebiker996.
