Pirelli Tire deal update

For those of you keeping score at home, my tire was just delivered this morning. I went home at lunch to put it in my garage and noted that it looked correct. I say looked, because I was in such a hurry I didn't have time to check the specs, though for all appearences it looks just fine.

So, there you have it. Now I can stop reloading their (and UPS') websites.

One more side note, UPS status indicated "Billed" on the 14th, through today, when it changed directly from billed to Delivered. No "In Transit". No "shipped". Nothing. Just billed to delivered.

Curious. This is what mine says:

---
Claim Number: 0166
Current Claim Status: Credit Card Charged -- Your Credit Card has been
successfully charged with a shipping fee of $25 on Mar 9, 2006.

How long from getting charged until you got a tracking #?

Re: Re: Pirelli Tire deal update

My card was charged on March 9th as well. I got my tracking number on the 14th, noting it had actually been shipped on the 10th, and then it was delivered today.

My claim number, however, was 0047, so it is quite possible yours shipped a day or two later just due to the number of shipments being processed.
