Newbie
Hi,
I just joined the VFR ranks. I wanted to check in and say Hi to everyone out there. I picked up a new Black Pearl 06. I have not ridden any other VFR's, but when the VTEC kicks in, Wow. First question out of the gate: What are the proper settings for sag? Are there any standards out there to shoot for, for the VTEC crowd? So far out of the box, she seems a little soft, yet stays planted in the twisties. And I am thinking of getting a Mag-knight tank protector, any other alternatives? Many thanks, Tim in Olympia, WA _______________________________________________ Vfr mailing list Vfr@xxxxxx For subscription and delivery options: https://lists.cs.wisc.edu/mailman/listinfo/vfr |

Re: Newbie
Welcome!
As far as tank protectors, I have used a "clear bra" type material that covers the tank yet maintains the stock look. Not sure if this would look right on the black pearl. (That is a flat color isn't it?) FWIW. FH ----- Original Message ----- From: Tim Fincannon To: vfr@xxxxxx Sent: Sunday, April 09, 2006 12:53 AM Subject: Newbie Hi, I just joined the VFR ranks.
