Fun ride today.

I made a round of the local dealers today.

The local Honda dealer had an open house. That was a good time. Lots bikes.
Some stunt riding. Even food.

Then went down the road a mile to the local yamahammer dealer. I got a
surprise there. They had two used VFR's for sale.

They had an non-ABS asphalt and a very pretty yellow 2000.

I could not see a mark or a problem on either one. So I asked the kid how
much they were.

I thought I was finally going to have a use for my cell phone. When I heard
the prices, I thought I would need the rescue squad.

For the 2004, they want $9,000. For the 2000 they want $7,000.

Amazing. And the kid didn't even bat an eye.

The last I head if you go another 50 miles down the road, you can buy a still
brand new asphalt 2004 with ABS for under $8.000.

There seem to be some yellow ones for sale here and there in the $4800-5500
range.

Oh well.

Jerry
