Ashton Flagg Ranch Road .. also known as NFD 261
Runs from Ashton, ID to the Flagg Ranch and US 89 over in between the Tetons
and Yellowstone. Some descriptions say passable only with 4 wheel drive .. other descriptions seem less daunting. Apparently you pass by the Grassy Lake reservoir ... and Indian Lake Wondering if it might be reasonably done on either a R75/6 BMW (1975) or a VFR 800 Honda (2000). Could cut some miles off a trip this summer .. or could leave me in the boonies to be eaten by bears. Anyone know first hand what this road's like to travel on a bike? Or any vehicle for the matter. Gary..
Have you done Beartooth Pass into Yellowstone? Amazing road if it has reopened after the landslides last year.
