Fuel Economy Question
OK - new to me 1999 VFR800 FI with 23k. Fuel economy running right about 40
mpg and I am not heavy on the throttle - still adapting to this bike. Anything wrong with this pic? Seems to me I have seen lots of comments of fuel economy more around 50 than 40... Also - idle runs about 1500 rpm with no choke. Any connection to the fuel mpg? TIA! Stay vertical... Keith B. Until my bike is warm it high idles at ~1500, all done by the ECU, no manual choke. -- -travis '00 VFR - Yellow Submarine - Southern NH, USA Custom Mirror Extenders http://users.adelphia.net/~tbsbjs/mirext.html Dual-Star Heated Grips, High mount MIG Indy, Sargent seat _______________________________________________ Vfr mailing list Vfr@xxxxxx For subscription and delivery options: https://lists.cs.wisc.edu/mailman/listinfo/vfr |
