Fuel tank protection
Hi,
It was a little while ago, but I was a new VFR owner and looking for suggestions on a way to protect the fuel tank. I got a lot of great ideas and the one I went with is the Tank Slapper. http://www.thetankslapper.com/online...store/main.htm It was shipped right away. But, when I opened it up, I was not so sure it was the best option. But, after I put it on, it looked great. It also does what it was supposed to do to. :-) It also provided grip on the sides of the tank, an unexpected bonus. I had ordered it with the side pieces for the fuel tank. The main reason I went with Tank Slapper over the other products is the area it covered, much more than most of the 3m tape stick on plastic bits. It can also peel right off if you wanted to, and then be squeegeed back on. Thanks for the great ideas, Tim _______________________________________________ Vfr mailing list Vfr@xxxxxx For subscription and delivery options: https://lists.cs.wisc.edu/mailman/listinfo/vfr |
