SPAM: 1999 VFR800 FI Interceptor For Sale...
In case anyone may be interested, or know someone who may be interested...
1999 HONDA VFR800 FI Interceptor, PRICE REDUCED TO $4800!!! Red VFR Interceptor below NADA/KBB Linked-Brake-System (not ABS) Upgraded regulator / rectifier and a new battery installed by the PO excellent condition, never down good tires (~1800 miles), Bridgestone BT020F VFR Service Manual on CD Zero Gravity windscreen Throttlemeister Yoshimuri slip-on (have stock pipe - but this Yoshi yields a deep full sound without being abusively loud - SWEET!) rear fender bobbed for sportier look Gen-Mar mirror extenders (so I can see something besides my arms - not on bike in pics) bike cover So, why am I selling? Because, after approximately 2500 miles in this saddle, I have confirmed my original bike preferences - I am a sport-TOURING rider... I really hate to let this bike go, but I can't afford 2 bikes and I prefer a machine with a little more utility for everyday riding. If the budget were more generous I would keep this bike and buy a more touring oriented bike for longer jaunts. The only negatives are as follows: a small hole in the seat cover where the pillion cowl rubbed through - hole is not growing. I did not receive the rear seat cowl with the bike. Small scratches around the aluminum hook points from use. I have pics of all these for you to review upon request, along with additional shots of the bike. Bike currently has ~25k miles but I am riding it to work every day I can, so I am adding about 45 miles per day. Less than KBB expected mileage. Thanks for the bandwidth and any potential interest. Stay vertical... Keith B. Tidrick '96 ST1100 Std, "ScaT" - hopefully soon...
